Restoration of the nominal condition of wheels and/or brake discs on rail vehicles by machining (reprofiling) on underfloor wheelset turning machines according to the specifications of the vehicle owner.

Repair of minor and very minor damage to a rail vehicle by mobile teams of craftsmen while the vehicle is in motion or in parking facilities outside the workshop, often using specially equipped breakdown recovery vehicles with the aim of avoiding additional workshop transfers.

Replenishment or replacement of lubricants, greases and oils in accordance with the vehicle owner's specifications, as well as environmentally sound disposal of waste and residual fluids in conjunction with preventive or corrective maintenance measures.

Carrying out retrofits, software updates or redesign measures in accordance with the vehicle owner's specifications as part of preventive maintenance measures or special feeds.

Carrying out scheduled maintenance and inspection work on train protection systems by specially trained personnel in accordance with the vehicle owner's specifications and in conjunction with preventive maintenance measures or special feeds. If necessary, we also perform fault clearance and repair work on these systems.

Testing and evaluation of the material and internal condition of parts and components of rail vehicles for freedom from defects without causing damage. Carried out using special testing technology and by testing personnel trained for this purpose at workshop locations certified by the DGZFP (German Society for Non-destructive Testing) in accordance with the vehicle owner's specifications. In addition to ultrasonic testing of wheel discs and wheelset shafts, common NDT methods include eddy current, magnetic particle and dye penetrant testing,
magnetic particle and dye penetrant testing as well as X-ray.

Replacement of rail vehicle components from the areas of chassis, driveline, vehicle body and air conditioning, which due to their size and weight require special infrastructure such as hoists, wheelset lowering or cranes.

The components are mainly lowered to the underfloor or lifted upwards out of the vehicle body. The large components include power packs, generators, traction motors, wheelsets, bogies and transformers as well as air-conditioning units.
